Getting there from San Pedro
Plan on roughly 30 to 45 minutes for the trip from downtown San Pedro — about 7 miles all in. You'll head 3.8 miles north and cross the Boca del Rio bridge, then turn west at the Secret Beach Junction for the last 3.3 miles.
Stretches of that road are still unpaved, so your drive time swings with the weather and how rough the dirt is that day. Take it easy on the loose sections and you'll be fine in one of our lifted carts.
Make the drive easy
Set out before 10:00 AM and you'll beat the midday traffic and have your pick of parking once you get there. Top off the tank before you leave town, since fuel stops thin out as you head north.
Your J&H rental already includes the Boca del Rio bridge pass, so you won't be fishing for cash at the toll — just roll through and keep going.
